![]() You can keep her as long as you want to, unless you feel it's cheap having an overpowered lowlevel pawn on your squad. I guess he/she could have just hacked the items as well.Īnyway, whatever the case is, if this pawn was broken, like modded stats or vocations, you couldn't have even hired her in the first case (you wouldn't find her in the rift and if you tried to summon her, the message "corrupt pawn data" or something of the sort would appear). he or someone else could have gifted him materials and BBI stuff to purify later. I didn't know about that, but apparently this is common knowledge among veterans of the game.Īs for the items. My new pawn claimed the RC reward of my late pawn and gained all of her knowledge. I discovered this when I decided to begin again. If someone hired your "deceased" pawn while you are using the new pawn, this new pawn will inherit all the bestiary and quest knowledge of the pawn of the last save. For the quests and bestiary knowledge, one of the possibilities is that this person played a lot and had a very knowledge pawn, but for some reason decided to start the game anew. Is that even possible for a level 21 pawn? Is this a bug? Of course I'm reluctant to dismiss her, but I feel as though I'm cheating myself in the intended experience of the game by having her along any longer. She is similarly versed with 3-stars for every bit of quest, area, and foe knowledge. She already has all 9 ranks for this advanced class. After examining her gear more closely, it appears she is equipeed entirely with rare Bitterblack gear (with the little gold dragons representing level). It was only after it appeared my new sorceress almost one-shotted a cyclops that I became very suspicious. Mind you, I'd not died since venturing too far onto the goblin beach around level 4-5, so it was not entirely impossible. I thought I was really improving at this point. So in we went, and I soon realised that my party was tearing through the mobs with relative ease. We stumbled upon the Watergod's altar whilst adventuring.and I thought, "Why not?". ![]() My main pawn is a healing mage, and I took along a fighter as well. I am still a Strider, by the way.Īnyway, I came across a a level 21 Sorceress (same level as me), who appeared to be very well-equipped and very capable. I've been experimenting with different pawns and party configuration, so I spend time in the rift every few levels and have a look. I really am enjoying the game and have been taking my time playing at a very deliberate pace.for fun.
